Featured Job Posting Head of Customer Research Insights @ Google Google is searching for a Head of Customer Research and Insights in Mountain View, CA. The Business Strategy Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with strong day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives. The Customer Research and Insights (CRI) team represents the voice of AdWords Small- to Medium-sized Business (SMB) advertisers to internal stakeholders. As Head of CRI, you will lead a critical team representing the voice of SMB advertisers to Google, across our advertising products on a global basis. You will lead our broad set of research efforts including surveys, statistical analysis of secondary data, qualitative methods as well as customer panels and/or focus groups to gain actionable insights to build our understanding of our advertisers. You will provide expert guidance in quant heavy analysis to derive insights, as well as expert knowledge in customer insights domain. You are an experienced research professional with hands-on, applied experience in managing a range of research studies: surveys, statistical analysis of secondary data, and qualitative methods, and deep expertise in developing customer insights. You are a strong leader, able to effectively identify and drive a research agenda focused on discovering actionable insights to improve customer experience. You will also will be a critical leader in influencing business and product decisions based on customer insights. You will be responsible for executing specific projects to implement changes in the way we provide customer experience, e.g. different scripts, different sequencing of emails, landing pages, and high touch support, different product UI.
